STOLBY, THE cHAPEL, rOEV RUCHEY AND KRASNOYARSK HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER STATION    

The park "Bobrovy Log" ("The beaver ravine"), situated 12 km from Krasnoyarsk, is opened 12 months a year. Ropeways, extreme attractions, 9 various ski trails and all these are among magnificent Kuysumsky mountains.
You will rise with the cable-way lift to the magnificent panorama of the reserve Stolby ("The Columns") opens up from an observation deck.
We recommend to wear comfortable sport shoes.

The tourists will visit the memorial estate of a great Russian artist Vasily Surikov in the downtown, in it's historical part. Memorial and art items are stored in the museum, the original works of the artist:  portraits and landscape paintings, schizzos and water colors paintings, graphic works. In the house the original furnishing and decor are reproduced.
Vasiliy Surikov was born in this house, he lived there before his enrolment to the Academy of Arts, and than he often used to come here. It is his most favourite place where Vasily Surikov dreamed to live constantly. There are many his future pictures were painted here – for example "Storm of Snow Fortress". The two-storeyed wooden log house is made of strong breed of the Siberian tree - a larch - in 1830. It is built without nails and sheathed by yew. The house wasn't reconstructed, it is in original state, the estate with a wing and outdoor constructions also  remained.

In amount of fountains Krasnoyarsk takes the third place among the cities of Russia, coming shot to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In Krasnoyarsk there are more than 150 fountains – cascade and ordinary, with illumination, with music, with various sculptural figures. Here only some of them: the colored music fountain on the Theatre Square, the cascade fountain "Rivers of Siberia", the Petersburg Bridge fountain, the fountain near the Theatre for Young Audiences "Harlequin and Kolombina", the Themis fountain at the  Pravosudiya Square etc.
The season of fountains opens in Krasnoyarsk on the 1st  May  and lasts till October.
